M&T Composting – SFA Awards Finalist

Following an intensive judging process, 37 companies were recently short-listed as finalists in the SFA National Small Business Awards 2013. On 7^th February, the SFA held an event to showcase these successful companies that are creating employment, looking to new markets and representing the entrepreneurial qualities of positivity, resilience and adaptability that small businesses need to prosper in the future.

M&T Plant Hire Ltd.

M&T Plant Hire Ltd. empties and cleans septic tanks, drains and treatment plants in the south Leinster area. The company is family-owned and employs 25 people in county Wexford. In 2012, M&T built and commissioned a 2,430sqm state-of-the-art organic composting facility, which is home to an innovative sludge (sewage) treatment process where domestic and commercial waste products are converted into compost by pasteurisation.
